Guru Purnima at Kailash Akhara

11 day Guru Yoga Anusthana & Celebration: June 27th – July 7th 2009

These 11 days leading up to Guru Purnima will be complete with daily pujas to the gurus, 3 sessions a day of guru yoga meditation, daily teachings on different aspects of guru yoga with Dharmanidhi Sarasvati Tantracarya, and the ongoing opportunity to perform karma yoga and learn permaculture on the lands of Kailash Akhara. Full moon day (Guru Purnima) will be celebrated in true Tantrik fashion, ending with a delectable feast and bon fire party.

Dependent on the completion of the life-sized Matsyendranath statue, our dear friend and Vedic Priest Rami Sivan will come join us and oversee the installation of Matsyendranath in the main yoga and meditation temple on July 7th.

The food will be healthy and tasty Thai food cooked by our wonderful and loyal cook "Jen", made with love from local ingredients, including the gardens of Kailash Akhara.
