| 6 Ways FAQ
Will I earn a certificate in one or more,
of the 6 Ways through Trika Kula?
No, Trika Kula does not issue certificates. Remember,
the path is the goal. You will not receive "certification"
from any of these courses because the practice itself
is both the method and the goal.
Will studying with Trika Kula mean I'm
qualified to teach?
Trika Kula primarily provides teachings and practices
of non-dual Tantra for practitioners. The classes will
help you grow in your personal sadhana and allow you
to participate in a community of practitioners. Dharmanidhi
does select people to be trained as teachers within
Trika Kula, but only after a few years of practice and
observation. Certification to teach is not implied or
intended.
How do I focus on one of the 6 Ways?
If you decide to focus on one or more of the 6 Ways,
the first step is to take a level 1 or 2 course in that
Way. The level 1 and 2 courses will be offered once
or twice a year, and do not need to be taken sequentially.
You can also enrich your practice by taking public classes
and General Studies courses which interest you and/or
support the Way you have chosen. It is not mandatory
to choose a Way in order to take classes.
What if I just want to take General Studies
classes and not focus on any of the 6 Ways?
That's fine. Please check the Trika
Institute General Studies Schedule at Yoga Mandala
or the Wednesday
Evening Philosophy Class Schedule.
Are there any required courses?
The following classes are required within the first
6 months: Gateway to Freedom and Developing a Spiritual
Practice. These are usually offered twice a year. Training
in level 1 and 2 classes is required before taking level
3 classes in the 6 Ways. Check the Trika
Kula/Yoga Mandala Course Schedule for the upcoming
dates for these classes.
Is there an application? How do I register?
There is no application process for General Studies
classes or Level 1 and 2 courses in the 6 Ways except
for the Way of the Vajra. Trika Kula is a "self-administered"
program. Your level of involvement is completely up
to you.
Contact
us to register for General Studies classes or Level
1 and 2 courses.
Is there anyone who can counsel me on an
educational program at Trika Kula? Or tell me which
courses I should take?
As stated above, this is a self-guided program. Your
participation in courses is totally optional. There
is no counseling provided. For self-clarification, take
as many of the Level 1 or 2 courses and General Classes
that you are interested in. Your aptitude and capacity
will act as your counsel eventually.
